Story
This September, I've been roped into pushing myself and taking on a challenge, all to help raise vital funds for my local hospice, Hospiscare!
Myself and my colleague will be ascending to new heights, taking the courage to make the 110ft abseil descent off Meldon Viaduct to the valley floors below.
Hospiscare are a local charity who care for terminally ill patients and their families across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Their teams of doctors and nurses offer specialist palliative and end-of-life care, to ensure that patients can make the most of the time they have left. They're a really important part of the local healthcare system and as a charity, they rely on donations to keep their services going.
I work in the Hospice at Home team in Mid Devon and look after patients in their own homes allowing them to be surrounded by their loved ones and in a familiar environment in their last weeks/days of life.
I know the past couple of years have been hard for everyone, but I want to help ensure Hospiscare can continue to be there for the community now and in the future. Please help me make a difference and give whatever you can. Every donation helps and your support would mean the world to me. Thank you!
