Story
After 4 years of chronic back pain and menopause issues, I decided to claim back my health and mental well-being with a fitness goal, and there’s none better than the London Marathon. Yes there was alcohol involved in this decision-making process! And whilst the process will give me lots of benefits (I hope!), I want to use the opportunity to help those less fortunate than me. There are many young people facing the death of a parent, and those trying to navigate their life without vital loved ones in their life. So I’m determined to raise lots of money for Daisy’s Dream, a fantastic local charity, who will give them the support they need. I’m grateful for any amount of money that you are able to contribute to this wonderful charity. Thank you ❤️
Each year Daisy's Dream support around 800 children and young people through their bereavement. Whether they are facing the death of someone they love or have already experienced their loss, our professionally qualified Therapeutic Practitioners are on hand to offer families the support and guidance they need.
All of our work is provided to families completely free of charge, but in order to do so, Daisy's Dream need to raise over £500,000 a year to cover our costs. Please give what you can.
