Myself, John, Abigail and George are taking part in the 5k Welly Walk at Jimmy's Farm to raise money for The Children’s Ward at Ipswich Hospital.

Ourselves and other family and friends have unfortunately had to stay in the Children's Ward so this is a charity we felt was deserving of any amount you are able to share - every donation, however big or small really does help.

The money is being raised to help transform the Children's Ward at Ipswich Hospital. The first and second phase of the new department have opened to patients, but there’s still a long way to go. The next step of the project is redeveloping the second ward area and play spaces to elevate the experience of young patients and their families.

The Children's Appeal has helped support redesigning the department into a light, airy and welcoming space. With your support, we can help to get one step closer to finishing the Appeal and provide brand new indoor and outdoor sensory and play spaces, as well as brand new equipment.

These extras make a vital difference to the health and healing of your friends and family when they need it most.
