Story
Last Summer we lost Dad to cancer. We will be forever grateful to St Ann’s hospice for the care they gave Dad and their on- going support of us. But … it costs £20,000 a day in fundraising to provide this.
Dad had a brain tumour that caused a seizure from which he lost the ability to speak and move. I promised myself that I wouldn’t take movement for granted so on 5th May 2024 I will be doing the Tour de Manc cycle event - a 55km bike ride through a very hilly, north Manchester. There is one cyclist in our family (and it’s not me!) but I have been training hard from an embarrassingly low starting point.
I know there are always lots of requests for donations but anything you can spare, however small, will allow me to say thank you to St Ann’s and pay it forward to one of many families who will tragically need their help.
Thank you
