Story
LATCH Welsh Children’s Cancer Charity supports children, young people and their families, who have a cancer or leukaemia diagnosis and are under the care of the Children’s Hospital for Wales.
When I joined LATCH (on my birthday last year 🥳💜😀)I learned quickly what makes the charity so very special. I was touched by the personalised and individualised support services provided by LATCH to our children, young people and families as they face the often, long, gruelling and uncertain journey of cancer treatment.
The essence of the charity is, and has been since its inception in the early 1980s, about giving hope, making life a little easier for children, young people and their families and putting their needs first.
This year the charity celebrates its 40th anniversary and I'm taking on the challenge of swimming 40 lengths this September 💪💜😀
After a strong start, I will do an additional 40 lengths for luck 🍀😀
I am doing this to help raise funds and to support LATCH's 40kfor40th Fundraising Campaign.
My aim is to swim a total of 40 lengths during, what has begun, as the very hot month of September! 😅
Plus, after a strong start - I will do 40 more for luck 🍀🤞🙏
Will you donate to help me complete this challenge, if possible, please? My goal is to raise £144 for LATCH during its 40th anniversary.
This is £44 more than I raised with my Birthday Fundraiser last year 🥳💜
Thanks everyone 💜🥳
