Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

The Swimathon is our attempt to swim a combined 26 miles (the length distance of a marathon) in 8 hours. This will all be in support of Brain Tumour Research, who do amazing research with a vision to find cures for all brain tumours. We chose this charity as Crusader alumnus, Kristin was diagnosed with having a brain tumour. Although successfully removed, it soon returned. Now successfully removed for the second time, she is recovering well. Brain Tumour Research has done brilliant work that helped Kristin recover and stay healthy.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
