After finding myself in Hull Royal Infirmary last Christmas and witnessing the lengths staff went to to give patients the best time possible, I wanted to do something to say a big thank you. They went above and beyond and were truly amazing - there was singing on the wards, sweets, crackers, and presents for everyone! They did their upmost to make it Christmas on the wards for those who needed cheer the most. They left their own families at such a special time, and I want to give something back to say thank you and celebrate them this Christmas.
