Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have worked in the mental health field all my working life. In my experience, the stigma of having mental illness has certainly improved over the last 30 years but, there is still a long way to go. Rethink Mental Illness is a charity that strives to improve the lives of those with severe mental illness and their carers. They also aim to bring about meaningful change through campaigning to push mental health up the public agenda and change government policy for the better.

I’d love it if you could support this charity by sponsoring me to run this half marathon, so together, we can help the millions of people affected by severe mental illness in this country. Thank you so much.
