I am going to jump out of a plane on a tandem skydive for charity! At 74 years old, I’m still game for adventure so have decided to take on this wild challenge for the charity that I have volunteered for over the last 6 years or so. They have kindly agreed to take me up to 10,000 feet, strap me to a very brave person, who will then jump out of a plane with me attached to them. We will then freefall for about 30 seconds, dropping around 5,000 feet in that short time, before pulling the parachute and landing me safely back to earth.

The charity is St Nicholas Hospice based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The Hospice strives to give the best end of life and palliative care to those who need it along with emotional and practical support to them and their family. They do incredible and kind things to help people at the hardest times, helping people either in the hospice or at their home.
