On Sunday 1 st October, I will be swimming the length of Ullswater 7 miles end to end and raising money for Community action Nepal and The Independent Living Centre Lalitpur.

Community action Nepal and The Independent Living Centre Lalitpur are 2 charities close to my heart. Last year I was fortunate to visit Nepal and visit both the CAN Nepal team and the independent Living Centre Lalitpur and see and hear about the amazing work they do.

The money raised from my swim will go a long way in helping people living in remote mountain villages and will provide vital health care, medicines, wages for the Napali nurses based at CAN health posts and much more.

It will help to provide better quality of life for people living with disability in this very poor country.
