I'll never forget the kindness they showed to my late husband David Conneely, who was living with MND when he attended day care at Heald Green and was also admitted for two weeks to give myself (his main carer at the time) respite when my dad passed away - David died 6 months later at the age of 46, so music and songwriting became my new love and this is my way of showing appreciation for the unconditional love and care he received from the dedicated staff there.

It would be great if you could turn up in person to see us perform our covers & original songs and perhaps have a dance (Tamla Motown/Country/Pop/RocknRoll etc!). It's free entry with a raffle, but please indicate if you will be going by emailing me here so I can reserve a place for you as seating is limited at the venue:- Spinning Top, 20 Wellington Road South, Stockport SK4 1AA (near MacDonalds) Parking in nearby streets is free on Sundays.

There is no government funding for the hospice - It costs £20,000 a day to keep the facility going, making a big difference to terminally ill people and their families in Greater Manchester, giving them the dignity they deserve at a crucial time in their life, at no cost to them.
