I had emergency life saving and life changing surgery in 2021 that resulted in me living with a colostomy. I had no time for any preparation beforehand. I found it really helpful to connect with other people who were living with a stoma. I am now doing ok and volunteer for Colostomy UK and see the valuable work that they do in supporting people every day.

They need YOUR support to make sure they can continue to be there for anyone needs it. October 14th is the start of the 42nd week of the year! I am going to try and walk, run or ride a total of 42 miles during the month of October.
