Our mission is to make a lasting impact in the health and well being of people in developing countries by reusing pacemakers which are currently thrown away in the UK as waste.

Story

Monty the golden retriever is walking a hundred miles in eight days to raise much needed funds for Pace4Life. He is dragging his aging humans, Ken and Linda, along with him every step of the way, walking around the whole coastline of the Isle of Man.

Ken, Linda and Monty particularly want to raise funds for Pace4Life because they are undertaking a project that will see thousands of discarded pacemakers sent to needy individuals, using creative methods of delivering costly healthcare to impoverished countries. Instead of the wasteful practice of binning pacemakers, Pace4Life is seeking to establish a process whereby people/patients donate old pacemakers to Pace4Life to be tested, and either reused or recycled.
