Story
Dear Supporters and Friends,
If you've found your way to this page, you're already a hero in my eyes.
I'm Jack Adam, and on March 8, 2024, I'm embarking on an extraordinary journey: running from Lincoln Cathedral to Skegness Pier and back, covering a total of 100 miles.
My mission began in 2022, where I took on my first ultra marathon, conquering 50 kilometres in just 8 hours. In early 2023, I pushed myself further, completing 82 kilometres in 10 hours. Three months later, I achieved the incredible feat of 100 kilometres in 14 hours. As you can tell, this idea did not get pieced together overnight.
Why am I doing this? To support the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance, an organisation that plays a vital role in our community. They're the rapid response team that rushes to the aid of those involved in road traffic accidents, reuniting families and saving lives. But their critical work comes at a cost. A cost that receives zero funding from the government and relies solely on donations.
This journey is deeply personal to me. It's about more than just raising donations; it's a tribute to those who never made it home. This round trip symbolises the importance of safety on our roads and the indispensable role of Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance in our lives. I'm reaching out for your help because, together, we can make a difference.
Whether you want to support me during the run or contribute in any way possible, please don't hesitate to get in touch. At the very least, I ask that you donate whatever you can, helping us reunite families once more.
Thank you for your support, and I can't wait to see you at Lincoln Cathedral on March 8, 2024.
With gratitude and warm wishes,
Jack Adam.
Peace & Love.
