Story
We want to raise money in memory of Lily and other allergy sufferers.
Lily was 18 years old when she suffered from a life ending Anaphylaxsis shock, the second in less than 6 months.
When Lily was born Aicha and Michael discovered she had a plethora of severe allergies, those included and not isolated to fish, seafood, nuts, sesame & dairy.
These allergies dominated Lily's life, and impeded on her ability to live life to the fullest without the fear of something happening.
As Lily grew older other life stresses started to impact on her body's ability to cope when there was an allergic reaction.
Lily had completed her A levels, to a high standard, and managed to secure a place at a Russell Group Uni, reading Economics at Exeter.
Lily had successfully completed her first year at Exeter Uni, however, it had been affected. Stress affected Lily in such a way that when she had her first anaphylaxis shock, it brought on a snowball effect of health issues.
The stress that was carried from year 13 had started to run her body down so after her first shock at the beginning of 2024 and a bout in hospital, Lily's body was in severe recovery mode before her fatal shock.
Lily had gone to Morocco with Mum, Aicha, to visit family and celebrate her first year and her achievement in overcoming the gruelling stresses of school to University when Lily was given a known allergy by the restaurant serving her.
So in loving Memory and Celebration of Lily's life, we kindly ask for you to donate to the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, so more families can be made aware and prevention can be taught. Allergies are not born, but developed and those who are not allergy sufferers or unrelated to allergy sufferers, need to understand the impact it can have on lives.
To Lily, We love you.
