Story

I was diagnosed at 28 with grade 3, triple negative breast cancer, plus axillary & internal mammary lymph nodes. This was after being misdiagnosed for over a year.

Also after more testing, I found out I have the BRCA 2 mutated gene, which my Dad & Sister have just found out they have this too.

My treatment so far has been 8 rounds of chemotherapy. I am now awaiting on a operation for a double mastectomy & double nipple removal with lymph node removal in my left armpit. I will then have radiotherapy & more treatment after that.

I want to provide as much awareness as possible about breast cancer and the importance of checking your chest, and also support others going through this. My Instagram account for this; @lilys_cancer_journey_

Thank you everyone for your support!

Lots of love,

Lily 🌺
