Story
In January 2019, after healthy, happy nan started feeling poorly and was put down to diabetes. Further tests were carried out and sadly my beautiful nan got diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. The last few weeks she fought it, but in March 2019, she took her final breath being surrounded by loved ones. She was an amazing lady, made everyone feel welcome. Not speaking to her every day is hard, her amazing creativity and baking.
Working with patients who have similar diseases means so much to me. LMCC is my chosen charity as everyone works so hard there, from volunteers to the amazing health care professionals. 🌈💕
My colleague, Clare lost her beloved Grandy, who was treated at the amazing LMCC who we work closely with providing chemotherapy drugs from the aseptic unit we work with. He sounds like an amazing man who light up the room.
After the past 2 years working with chemotherapy drugs. There is so much to learn, and with money raised through abseiling 11 storeys of a building we can make a difference.
