Story

Hi my name is Lily and I am fundraising for Greenwich and Bexley Hospice.

To celebrate the amazing work of Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice I am taking part in the Trek Sahara charity event! This trek will take place in November 2024! This hospice does amazing work for our local community.

As part of the event I will be walking 30 miles through the Sahara Desert!

Every year they care for over 3000 people with a life-limiting illness and their carers, family and friends. They support the whole family as well as the patient at what can be a very difficult time. All the care provided is free of charge, therefore they need support to help give back to the local community.

The Hospice is very important to my family. They have helped loved ones at difficult times and my Mum has worked at the hospice for the last 20 years as a bereavement counsellor.

50% of my £2000 target will go directly to the hospice to continue to support their work and care they provide.

Please support me if you can and make any contact if you require anymore information!

Thank you!
