We are raising money for the Farming Community Network (FCN) as they are a voluntary organisation with over 400 volunteers that help to provide vital support to farmers and farming families. They help by giving pastoral support whether it’s personal or business-related. This charity is evermore important with the changes that are facing the British agricultural industry, affecting farming families livelihoods- causing extreme stress, uncertainty and poor mental health to bubble further. Farmers often work long hours and days which can be lonely with little social interactions, FCN volunteers are there to provide a sympathetic ear that is confidential and free of charge. This Helpline can offer farmers the ability to speak freely without feeling in anyway that their problems are a burden.
