Story

Hello! Thank you for visiting my page!

I’m running the 2025 London Marathon for Breast Cancer Now.

In 2023 my mum, Clare, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She’s since made a full recovery, but we’re so aware that she’s one of the lucky ones; breast cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in women in the UK.

15 years ago my Dad, Pete, ran the London Marathon for Breast Cancer Care (now Breast Cancer Now) in memory of his first wife and my two brothers’ mum, Carole.

I’m so happy and proud (and absolutely terrified!) to be following in his footsteps, running for the same cause, and hopefully also show an ounce of the same strength my mum did when receiving treatment.

Any donation, big or small, is so hugely appreciated.

Loads of love,

Lily. Xxx
