I am raising money to help build a playground with Play Action International in Uganda next summer for a local school! The money I raise will go towards materials for this and secure my place as a volunteer.

I am lucky enough to have had a childhood full of play, enabling me to develop, learn and flourish, and I'd love to be a part of providing that to less fortunate children who deserve it just as much. Play is extremely important for a child's development, learning, and healing, with priceless benefits.

Play Action International is a UK registered charity and international NGO, working to enrich children's lives through play. They provide vulnerable children with play facilities and play based learning programmes, enabling them to gain all the developmental benefits that play has to offer and the tools for future success.

It was very important to me to find a charity who provides work opportunities for the locals rather than taking it away, - this charity is amazing in that they employ locals and provide them with qualifications, giving back to the community and leaving a lasting sustainable legacy.
