We provide care and support to people with life-limiting illness

Story

UPDATED ON Monday 19th August

We did the walk! I just wanted to say how amazed I am with the money raised on this page – thank you all so much. I am pleased to say that I managed to walk 2 miles with my friends and family on this walk, and it was a lovely, special day.

Since then, I have also been to the zoo with my son Noah and husband, and visited the beach with my family. I am so very grateful for all the experiences I am having.

If you could help me raise the target of £5,500 for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care, I will feel that my time being looked after by them will have been recognized and that I am able to give them something back for all their kindness.

Thank you very much, you have been so very generous.

Liene

After some challenging years living with incurable cancer, few weeks ago I was admitted to Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care Inpatient palliative care unit who continue to care and support me. I can’t Thank them enough for all the kindness, care and support they continue to provide, I feel like I have gained some extra time of this precious life while being so well looked after. People who work here, who volunteer, they are all so professional, so dedicated, so kind and so inspiring. Rennie Grove Peace is a charity and they rely on fundraising donations as very little funding comes from government. So that more people with life limiting illness and their families can benefit from this invaluable care, we decided to start a fundraising challenge.
