On November 3rd, I will be running the wild, hilly, challenging, and magical NYC Marathon! This is my first marathon and I want to run for more than just proving to my older brothers I can make it -- I want to support a small charity that is having a BIG impact.

I found that charity in the JDJ Charitable foundation. Founded by James Blauvelt after experiencing family struggle and loss to Cancer, JDJ raises funds to directly support families like his during long battles with cancer. From funding wheelchairs to school scholarships, JDJ aims to ease the relentless financial pressures surrounding families in the midst of of their cancer struggle.

JDJ is a small, passionate project. Every dollar matters, every dollar will have a direct impact, and every dollar will be put towards helping a family in need.
