I've had curly hair all my adult life. I've been told to get a hair cut more times than I can count. I've been called every curly haired musician from Kyle Falconer to Mick Hucknall!! 16 years ago my (now) wife walked across the sticky floored Citrus Club and told me she liked my curly hair and pointy shoes!!

I once got a trim before Christmas to look less scruffy, however arriving in Co Clare, my father in law said he preferred my hair BIG like Luke Kelly! When I met Noel Gallagher he asked why I looked like a Liverpool player from the 80s!

I could go on all night with the stories but my curls are probably my most defining feature. Parting with them will be hard but like most people I have felt helpless watching Palestinian children being pulled from the rubble.
