Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi all, this is Sarah, Liams wife. As most of you know, I lost my mum to sporadic CJD. Currently there are no treatments or cure for CJD not even anything to slow the disease down. I went along to a yearly conference last month that the cjd support network put on for those who have been effected by cjd, it was a really wonderful weekend, so much information and support, it was great to speak to others who have been through similar circumstances. Treatment trials are on hold until they can secure funding of £50 million, as yet nobody is interested in helping. I know there is very little we can do to help with that but id love to help towards funding for next years conference (so like last time it can be completely free for those who attend and who desperately need support)

We all know Liam is going to enjoy this challenge, but none the less it is a challenge and he wants to know he has done his bit to help. I know Liam always gives generously when he sees a friend doing something for charity so I really hope people can return the favour and give anything you can, all donations will be very much appreciated. Thanks for reading.
