we are raising money for an amazing charity, Headway East London. Which is where our friendship began after meeting at Headway East London’s day service centre.

To raise money for Headway East London we will be taking on the challenge of climbing the highest peak in Britain, Ben Nevis in Scotland. Why this challenge? Before Derek’s accident, Derek was very much into hiking & was something he wanted to get back into, which led to our goal of conquering Ben Nevis.

Headway have & continue to support us both after our acquired brain injuries and know the amazing work they do.

Every 90 seconds in the UK someone is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury and, with some support Headway East London can continue to help & support others, like us after a life changing brain injury.
