Story
Hello, I’m Lew, and I will be running the Paris Marathon in April 2025 to raise money and more importantly awareness for everything Movember stands for. I will be running this particular event with my best friend Jack, (the one who got me fired up to start running in the first place) He is also an advocate for this just as much as I am,
I’d like to raise as much money as possible for this particular charity. The goal is set at £750, which is a mandatory minimum to the events ticket, however, it’s uncapped and i’d hope to raise a lot more! So along the way Myself and Jack will be holding random fundraisers to try and raise as much money as humanly possible for Movember and Men’s Health.
I will be vowing to not only further grow a moustache for Movember, however, from the date of this just giving page being created. I will be growing the Moustache and not actually shaving it until I cross the marathon finish line in April. So If you see me cutting about town with a huge piece of carpet under my nose, don’t fret, it’s for charity!
Looks like i’m going to stay single for a little while longer!
Please feel free to follow my progress on my personal instagram account @Lewlewruns as i’ll be posting regular running based updates and fundraisers on there more so than the bulletin’s on here including my training program, bits of nutritional info if you’re getting into running and a bit of personal training from my friend which i will be willing to share with anyone wanting to get into running as a result. and if you’re local to me and want to join in on some of my training program runs, peaks, recovery runs or strength and conditioning sessions, feel free to message me.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned.
Big Love
Lew
For fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing a health crisis, yet it’s rarely talked about. Men are dying too young. We cant afford to stay silent in a world which is so so loud.
Movember are the leading charity changing the face of mens health. We know what works for men and what doesnt. Prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention, were taking them all on.
Movember has funded more than 1,250 mens health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, and shaking up mens health research, support services and treatment.
