Story
I hope you'll join me in making a difference for people living with IC/BPS by raising awareness and/or making a donation to the ICA for the ICA's Fall Fundraiser – Pain to Purpose!
As the ICA's director of giving, I am fundraising because I wholeheartedly believe in the mission of the ICA. During my time with the organization, I have met so many incredible people who serve as volunteers. They care so deeply about the ICA and give their time, energy and expertise in a variety of ways - as members of the board of directors, experts in the field donating their knowledge and expertise and caring individuals who advocate on Capitol Hill for the IC/BPS community. These amazing people work incredibly hard to ensure that the ICA remains the only non-profit health association solely dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare and the lives of people affected by IC/BPS.
The ICA is a patient advocacy organization devoted to optimal care with support for people affected by interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS). IC/BPS is a chronic pain disease that is not well known by the public or even healthcare practitioners, yet millions of Americans suffer from it. The primary symptom of IC/BPS is excruciating bladder pain, and secondary symptoms include urinary urgency and frequency. Many patients suffer for years without a diagnosis and miss the opportunity to make important lifestyle changes that provide relief.
Every dollar helps! Let’s create a lasting impact for the IC/BPS community!
The Interstitial Cystitis Association is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit corporation with federal EIN# 13-3292137. Contributions are tax-deductible as described by law.
