Leonard, Andrew and Kristoffer - London Marathon 2025 in memory of Iain James Goodlad.

In March of this year we tragically lost our son, brother and best friend Iain to suicide aged just 29. Iain was a loving father to his little girls Olivia and Daisy, aged 5 and 3. Iain’s death has had a devastating effect on our family, his wide circle of friends and the wider Shetland community as a whole.

As a family, we have experienced first hand the tragic impact losing a loved one to suicide has. We would love to play our part and support the amazing work charities do to raise awareness and help break the stigma around mental health, especially in young men.

In April of next year, myself, Iain’s brother Andrew and close friend Kristoffer will be running the London marathon in memory of Iain and will be donating the funds raised to the mental health charity Mind.
