In memory of Leon John Malone
We actively fund the patient's and carers' support and involvement in research run by the National Aspergillosis Centre in the UK. Thousands of patients have had their lives improved and we are linking patients to ground-breaking NAC research.

Story

We are asking for people to donate to Aspergillosis Research and Support as Leon suffered with this chronically. It was very hard for him to manage and also for the doctors and nurses that he visited. Everyone involved did the best they could, including Leon. He fought till the end, like we knew he would.

Over the last 18 months in particular, he couldn't fault the care he received and neither could we as a family. It would be amazing to raise money for further research into this condition. He would have wanted others who are suffering like he did to receive the best care and provide opportunity for further research into new treatments to help understand aspergillosis more thoroughly.

The National Aspergillosis Centre (NAC) and Manchester Fungal Infection Group (MFIG) have spent over 20 years fighting aspergillosis alongside the Fungal Infection Trust (FIT), making huge strides in improving patients' quality of life throughout the UK and the world.

If you can, please give a donation towards this cause so other families are looked after to the fullest and so more research can take place to help fight this chronic condition.

We, Leon's family, thank you in advance for your contributions.
