Earlier this year I lost my Brother-in-Law to Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Within 12 months of the diagnosis he was just a shell of his former self and shortly after passed away. Watching the progression of this horrific disease on a beloved, close member of your family, knowing there was absolutely nothing that could be done to pause or reverse the march of MND was heart breaking for us all.

I want to build on the fabulous awareness campaigns brought to the public eye by Rob Burrow, Marcus Stewart and hundreds of others like him and contribute to the effort in my own way.

With my buddy Ian, we are going to cycle from Lands End to John O Groats, but with us both members of popular Bristol covers band Tundra, we’re adding a unique twist!

We aim to perform a free gig each night after cycling all day in music venues along our 1000 mile route - that's 14 days cycling, and 14 nights gigging.

To help us with this challenge, we are going to be supported en route by our good friend and fellow band member Guy, who will also be driving our support vehicle. We hope to get a Camper/RV for the trip so we can sleep in and carry the band gear to the next destination.

We plan to use our musical skill set to perform each night at local venues for free to promote awareness of MND and to generate additional donations from the venue and listening public.
