Story

We will be bringing Santa and his reindeer's to Leicester this year to raise money for LAMP. We hope you enjoy Santa's visit and can kindly support us with our charity appeal.Dates and Locations:

Anstey 3/12/22

Sileby 8/12/22

Rothley 10/12/22

Huncote 15/12/22

Kirby Muxloe 17/12/22

One person dies by suicide every 40 seconds (WHO 2019) & 'Suicide is the biggest killer of Men under 45' (CALM 2020)

These statistics are truly shocking! The questions around how do we reduce these figures all lead to seeking help and support early. You may ask 'how do we know if someone needs help?', and the majority of the time, we don't. But its so important to offer your ear, "Talk" and really emphasise the question 'How are you?'

Why shine a light?!?!

# It represents there is a hope and light in the darkness

# It represents being seen

# It represents that your light is on to anyone in need

By shining a light, you are acknowledging the seriousness of mental health issues often leading to Suicide.

Shine a light with Lamp on the 10th September to show you are there to lend an ear and support friends, family, colleagues and anyone

About the charity

Mental Health is complex. Our advocacy work involves, listening, guiding, planning, supporting and ensuring their needs are properly considered. Mental Health cannot be ‘cured’ with one conversation, it takes time to form trust. Our advocates devote hours, days, months to provide the best support.
