Following my Grandad's dementia diagnosis, our whole family experienced the way in which the disease breaks hearts slowly as a loved one deteriorates.

I'm hoping to raise at least £300 for my Grandad's memory; a little dent in comparison to the rainy day football kickabouts and Mablethorpe arcade expenditures he covered to make me smile every moment I had with him.

I'll be donating to Alzheimer’s Society where they’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
