My Saint's Way Trek 2025
Fundraising for Cornwall Hospice Care
Fundraising for Cornwall Hospice Care
Myself and colleagues from Devon and Cornwall Police are taking part in The Saint's Way Trek 2025 in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care.
We will be completing this challenge in memory of Emma Abbott who sadly passed away on Friday 27th December 2024 following her brave battle with cancer. Emma sadly leaves behind her husband Jason, a colleague and friend of ours, and their two children Katelynn and Sam. Throughout Emma's fight, Cornwall Hospice Care have supported her and her family, with Jason telling us how great their work is.
Helping me to raise money for Cornwall Hospice Care is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients facing the most challenging moments of their journey. CHC provides essential care, comfort, and dignity to loved ones in their final stages, ensuring they receive pain management, emotional support, and compassionate end-of-life care. Every donation helps fund vital services such as medical treatment, counseling for families, and peaceful hospice environments.
By sponsoring me, you are not only supporting a worthy cause but also becoming a part of a community that values kindness, care, and hope.
Your generosity can bring comfort to those in need and remind them that they are not alone in their fight.
Any donation big or small would be so greatly appreciated by the hospice, Jason, his family and all of us involved in this challenge.
Cornwall Hospice Care incorporates Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in St Austell and St Julia's Hospice in Hayle, the only two adult hospices in Cornwall. With only 9.5% funding from the NHS commission, the rest of our funding comes entirely from the community; from people like you supporting us and taking part in our events, so thank you!
