On Saturday June 8th a group of us will be taking on the challenge of completing The Yorkshire 3 peak’s challenge in under 12 hours. The peaks we will be tackling are Whernside 736m(2,415ft), Ingleborough 723m(2,372ft) and Pen-y-Ghent 694m (2,277ft). This is a total of 24 miles (38.6km)!

The group consists of mam’s, dad’s, teachers, ex pupils parents and friends who will depart The Gold Medal at 04:00am arriving roughly at 06:00am to start the challenge!!!!

Due to where Oakfield is situated we find it really difficult to gain access to funding/grants. So we are taking on this challenge to raise funds for Oakfield Schools Federation.
