Story
I lost my Dad to cancer at the start of this year.
Dad died on pretty much the 10 year anniversary of my Mum losing her fight with cancer too so to say it was a naff start to the year is an understatement.
They're my motivation for this.
Arthur Rank Hospice Charity is a cause close to my heart. Their hospice at home service cared for my mum when she passed away and my dad was always really proud of the work I did there as a trustee.
I'm delighted to be able to fundraise for them in the end-of-life care they deliver for the community and hope you'll be able to support me on my challenge.
I had already signed up to Ride Across Britain last year (keen I know!) but it felt fitting to now use the challenge as a chance to raise funds and make it a time for remembrance.
I'll be cycling 980 miles over 9 days from Land's End to John O'Groats starting on Saturday 7th September.
