The events of recent years have left over a third of young people feeling that the odds are stacked against them. We think young people deserve a better future, and so we have teamed up with Barnardo's to bring communities together to support young people.

I'm going to be trekking to the summit of mount Toubkal in Morocco. At 4167mt its the highest peak in North Africa and by far the highest peak I've ever come across!

This will be a huge challenge for me, there's physical and mental health challenges for me to face into and trekking to those heights is all brand new.

There's also the fundraising, as soon as the opportunity came along to do this for Barnardos i jumped at the opportunity. At home I'm a new parent wanting to not only create the best opportunities for my little one but also try and make a difference for young people to ensure I'm doing my part to help those that need it the most.

At work I'm the Co Chair of Coop's Strive Network, working to improve our offering to those starting or changing their careers and importantly ensuring that Young peoples voices are heard.
