Over the past 25 years, Southend Hospital Charitable Foundation has raised more than £5million to help transform patient care at Southend University Hospital.

Launched in February 2023, the new Spotlight Radiotherapy Appeal aims to raise £600,000 to fund ultra-precise, state-of-the art Radiotherapy equipment known as Surface Guided Radiation Treatment.

The new technology will revolutionise the way patients accross Mid Essex receive radiotherapy, bringing a host of benefits to patients in terms of comfort, speed and accuracy.
