Story
Since my grandad got diagnosed with Parkinson’s his wife Kath has been amazing at helping and caring for him. She was due to go on a well deserved holiday but then she started to have trouble with one of her legs and was struggling to walk. After a few months of having investigations, in mid June she was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
There was nothing they could do and she was given 3-6 months. On the 23rd July, Kath passed away at home.
Kath was an incredible lady who would do anything she could to help you if you needed it. She was always bubbly, funny and loved her family and friends.
There needs to be more treatment options for people going through the same things as what Kath did. So I am going to be running 10k on the 1st Oct to raise some money to donate to the brain tumour charity.
Anyone who knows me will know that I am not a runner 😂 so doing this is going to be a challenge.
