I am participating in the Snowdon by night trek in support of Alder Hey Children's Charity.

My wonderful nephew Dougie was born on the 5th December. He was admitted to hospital a few days before Christmas and ended up being transferred to Alder Hey Children's Hospital on the 27th December. He was diagnosed with pyloric stenosis for which he needed to undergo surgery. I wanted to do something to repay my thanks to all the wonderful staff at the hospital who have cared for him so well.

I will be doing the Snowdon by night walk on the 11th August along with my mum Andrea and fellow fundraisers. We will start at 03:00 by walking through the village of Llanberis and at 03:30 we will start the 1,085 metre ascent of Snowdon via the Llanberis Path. All being well we will arrive at the summit at 05:30 before heading bpack to Llanberis.

Alder Hey Children's Charity is doing incredible work to improve the lives of sick children and their families. They provide vital support and care to those who need it most, and I am honored to be able to contribute to their cause.
