Dave Dance and Shane Bethell approached us with the idea of doing a 3 peaks Challenge to raise money for our charity and to honour our boy Chayse. Around 30 local lads have signed up so far including my husband Jon and Chayse’s brother, Caiden.

Chayse, our beautiful, cheeky, full of life 18 year old son was killed in a hit and run in September 2022, where he was left in the road, whilst the driver carried on his day as if nothing had happened. Our lives obliterated when those police officers knocked on our door to tell us the worst news any parent could be told.

We quickly began to realise that there is minimal financial support for bereaved parents/carers and so The Chayse West Legacy was born. Our mission is to support grieving parents going through this nightmare that has been thrust upon them. From funeral costs to other financial support and everything in between.
