I am running in memory of Elaine who was a wonderful woman that had spent her working life in the service of others.

Firstly through working as a Police Officer in The Metropolitan Police Service and later on in her career retraining as a Nurse, and progressing to Ward Sister at Kettering General Hospital.

Elaine had battled with Cancer for several years and at the end of her fight she was cared for by Marie Curie Nurses, who made her comfortable and gave support both during the day and night.

Elaine had so much more life to live and love to give and she will be missed forever by her Family and Friends.
