Story
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page raising money for the MND Association. By sponsoring me your money will help people affected by Motor Neurone Disease, like my Dad.
After completing 2 epic challenges raising over £8,300 for this important charity over the last 7 years, I have been offered a charity space to run the London marathon on 27th April 2025!
Raising awareness and funds for the MND Association will never be a one off thing for me and my family, as we sadly know first hand the devastating affects the disease has on its sufferers and those around them.
My dad, my hero and the bravest person I know has been living with MND since 2015.
Watching someone you love decline in health not only physically but mentally is something I do not wish for anyone to experience which is why raising money for the MND Associstion to fund research and support for its sufferers to hopefully one day find a cure is so important!
My Dad is my inspiration. Despite everything he is going through he still has a smile on his face and enjoys everyday for what it is. He is the best Dad and Grandad that anyone can wish for and is admired by everyone around him, so please please please donate what you can for my Dad, anyone that has been affected by MND and this very deserving charity.
Everyone we know has been so generous in the past helping me reach my fundraising goals which we are forever thankful for. But sadly there is still no cure and people are being diagnosed with MND everyday so we can’t stop now.
My minimum fundraising amount for the marathon is £2,700 which goes to the MND Association. For anything raised over this amount, 50% will be going to the MND Hertfordshire branch who have supported my dad over the years with monthly meetings with other MND sufferers as well as equipment he’s needed as the disease progresses, with the other 50% going to the MND Association.
Thank you for visiting my page and supporting me and my family x
