My name is Lauren Malone, and as a finalist of Miss England 2024, I am raising awareness & fundraising for 2 of Miss England’s charities: Beauty with a Purpose (BWAP) & PAPYRUS till the Miss England Finals in May 2024.

So far, I have spread awareness and fundraised £1310 in total for Beauty with a Purpose and PAPYRUS (Prevention of young suicide) in the lead up to Miss England’s 1st Ever Make Up Free Regional Contest to promote natural beauty. Where I qualified into Miss England's Grand Final by placing 3rd in Miss London’s Southeast Bare Face Contest in September.

I would like to thank everyone who donated during my 4 day street collection on the 1st, 2nd, 4th & 8th of September in Camden, Holland Park, Chelsea and Richmond and sponsored my Ultra Challenge 25km Thames Trek. Where I walked across 16 London bridges on the 9th of September. In addition to the Mayors of Chelsea & Kensington, Richmond, Camden and Barnet who supported my street collection licence application to the Met Police with letters of sponsorship.

Please note, If you donate, Miss World will not take any administration costs or deductions. A 100% of every donation is directed to those that need it the most with 50% split between each charity.

Beauty with a Purpose is the charitable arm of Miss World, which Julia Morley created in 1972, it helps children worldwide. PAPYRUS is a Miss England dedicated and national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Hundreds of millions of pounds have been raised by Beauty With a Purpose so far and donated to local and international organisations in aid of disadvantaged children all over the world. Variety, The Children’s Charity, for example has been closely associated with Beauty for A Purpose for many years. PAPYRUS, Miss England’s dedicated charity has helped reduce the number of young people who take their own lives. By shattering the stigma surrounding suicide and equipping young people and their communities with the skills to recognise & respond to emotional distress. No young person should struggle alone with the thoughts of suicide!

Other causes that have benefited from Beauty with a Purpose include: funding for Cleft Palate teams in South America, Sri Lanka and Russia; Abandoned and neglected children in Vietnam; Operation Hunger, the Nelson Mandela Foundation in Africa; and the Chinese Red Cross in bringing financial aid to those most seriously affected by the Asian tsunami.
