Lauren's fundraiser for SUDEP Action

Inflatable 5k, Exeter 2024 · 27 April 2024 ·
On 7th September 2023 my son Harry passed away at the young age of 19, he went to bed completely well and just didn’t wake up.
Harry was staying with his grandparents for a little holiday before returning to Plymouth uni to start his second year. His passing has shocked the whole family and we are struggling to come to terms with it, it made it so much harder to have to wait nearly 5 months for the coroners report to come back with SUDEP but also to get Harry’s siblings tested for SADS just in case.
I still struggle to talk about Harry and what happened without getting upset but I really want to keep his memory alive especially for his siblings who have been so strong throughout Teddi age 9 and Evie aged 8 and myself having been taking part in the epilepsy 100mile walk and they have already done over 70 miles each and George aged 13 wanted to raise money for SUDEP so on the 27th April myself and George will take part in this 5k event and it will be extra special because a week after this event will be Harry’s Heavenly 20th birthday. We want to make Harry proud as he made us all proud every single day!! We miss you Harry
