Jude’s fundraiser for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

Lauren Connelly is raising money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity
Time to look out the tartan for the 2025 Glasgow Kiltwalk! Kiltwalk is Scotland’s largest mass participation walking event with over 172,000 people taking part since 2016.

Story

Jude was born 12th august and rushed to Glasgow children’s hospital at 12 hours old as he had 2 heart defects, interrupted aortic arch and aortopulmonary window. When Jude was 9 days old he went under open heart surgery. Jude recovered well and got home 16 days after surgery. Glasgow children’s hospital charity and crossbank house helped us as a family and gave us a place to stay and money to eat and mainly this amazing hospital saved my sons life. Without these 2 amazing charities we wouldn’t have been able to stay close to Jude through the most difficult times of our lives. As a family we want to fundraise to these charities to help other families in need.

Glasgow children’s hospital support crossbank house so money from this just giving will support both charities.

Thank you to everyone who donates and helped this amazing cause.
