We support vulnerable adults to manage and improve mental wellbeing.

Story

After catching the running bug, we have decided to sign up for the Belvoir Castle Half Marathon! More importantly though, we want to use this as an opportunity to raise money for a cause that’s really important to us, mental health.

Approximately 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health issue each year. Nottinghamshire Mind offers support and guidance for mental health issues. The charity aims to reduce negative stigma around mental health and provide a safe and supportive environment for anyone who needs it.

We both understand how difficult it can be to go through a hard time and not feel like there’s anyone to talk to, but there always is! As well as raising money for such an incredible charity, we want to use this opportunity start conversations with the people around us. Letting everyone know that no one is alone and there is always someone to turn to.

If you are in the position to give money and would like to donate to this cause, we would be really grateful. Donating through this justgiving page guarantees that the money you donate will go directly to the charity. Your support will help so many people who are struggling with these issues, get the help and guidance they deserve.

Thank you,

Lauren and Will x
