On the 15th July I will be taking part in the Lake District Triple Challenge with my colleagues. My team are hoping to raise £7,500 for Cancer Research UK, as part of a wider team aiming to raise £30,000 across four charities.

On the day we'll be doing a triathlon-style challenge which includes:

- Climbing to the summit of the Old Man of Coniston (803m, 10km)

- Mountain biking 12km through Grizedale Forest, with a lung-pumping ascent of the hill into the forest

- Kayaking 1.5km around Coniston Water

This is the first time I've done anything like this, and the first time I've ever asked for sponsorships so I'd appreciate anything you can give even if it's only a few pounds <3 my employer Barclays will be matching donations up to £1000, so if you donate £10 and include gift aid, it's actually £22.50 for Cancer Research UK!
