YPS’ Mighty Hike for Macmillan Cancer

So many people’s lives have been touched by cancer – including the YPS family. That’s why our team are setting off on a Macmillan Mighty Hike to raise money for the UK’s leading cancer care charity.

Our team will be taking on the challenge of a 24-mile hike in the hills of the Lake District on Saturday 15th June. The team is made up of 16 YPS staff, of varying ages and levels of fitness, and includes our MD, Glyn Johnson.

As a team, we’re aiming to raise over £10,000 for this worthy cause and we’d really appreciate any help you can give in sponsoring us and in helping the millions of people living with cancer who count on Macmillan for physical, financial and emotional support.

When making a donation, it might help to consider the difference your money will make:

£132 could pay for a Macmillan support worker for a day

£335 could fund a tablet for Macmillan Nurses to conduct assessments in a more personal way

£420 could pay for a medium Macmillan benefits advice service for one day

Of course, any donation, large or small will be truly appreciated. By 2021, Macmillan were able to help over 2 million people in a single year, so, together, all our donations make a huge difference.
