I'm walking 30 miles with my dog this June to help the American Cancer Society (ACS) fight for a world without cancer.

This is a very meaningful cause for me because my incredible stepmom, Marlee Miller, was diagnosed with Stage 4 gallbladder cancer. For those who do not know her, not only is Marlee one of the most caring, compassionate and insanely hardworking people you will ever meet, but Marlee has spent most of her professional career working for M+R, which is an organization known for helping nonprofits and other associations raise money for important causes and even worked with the ACS at one time. I’m taking a page from her book and helping raise funds for this important cause.

This fundraiser is in support of Marlee, but also everyone else who has battled cancer themselves or has had a loved one or friend diagnosed.
